4 Days until Beta

I'm a big walking contradiction during the two week wait.

I know, logically, that even at 6dp5dt (the analogy of 11 days past ovulation in the IVF world) it's highly unlikely that I should "feel" pregnant. In fact, when supporting my friends going through this in THEIR two week waits, I always coach them into not peeing on sticks and not worrying if they don't feel anything.

But when it comes to myself, all logic goes out the window. I feel like I should just feel something by now, right? RIGHT? Because I KNOW my body and I KNOW that when I finally get pregnant I KNOW that it will tell me, right away.... right? RIGHT?

Come on body, give me a sign!!!!!!!!!

And no, I'm not going to pee on a stick.

Ah the two week wait... I know you well.

  4. Hang in there! 4 more days! I know it feels like an eternity, but you can do it. I am 5 weeks pregnant now and don't "feel" pregnant either, to be honest, so seriously, don't worry if you don't have anything that feels different. I'm thinking of you and have been following along, praying for a wonderful BFP in 4 days.

  7. While I'm a tester for sure...

I "felt the most pregnant" on my first failed IVF. Didn't feel pregnant with any of my pregnancies until after I already knew I was pregnant...

  8. Oh yes, logic DOES go out the window during your own 2ww. I was convinced my cycle failed, I felt normal. I've been wondering how you are doing, your almost there. I have everything crossed for you!!

  11. I am counting down the minutes with you. Please post as soon as you know! I have to say (I am sorry if it is annoying) that I felt nothing different when I finally got my BFP. I was completly convinced I was not pregnant. The only thing that might have been a symptom was cramps but I could have sworn they were period cramps and they only happened a day or two before my beta was scheduled.
By the way I also swore I wouldn't test and the only reason I tested earlier was because I wanted to get the heartbreak over with. I figured that it would be negative for sure because of the lack of the symptoms and I didn't want to go through the embarassment of another phone call from the clinic telling me that I had failed again.
Hang in there, we are all thinking of you! Plus you have the best back up insurance plan I have ever heard of (I hope that doesn't come accross as being negative).

  12. Glad you are not POAS. I hate doing that...causes so much turmoil.
Good luck making it through the next few days. It's OK if you don't feel anything, really, it is.
Praying for a great beta for you!

  14. Hang in there, I didn't feel anything either. I thought for sure it didn't work again, I was searching for every sign possible but nothing. Then yesterday I found out it really did.
